General Information
Chemical formula is CH3 (CH2) 11C6H4SO3H, which is generally a chemical in the colloid gel phase. It can be biodegradable without damaging the environment. The starting material is LAB (linear alkylbenzene). Labsa content in a product is approached to 20% in a product, nowadays it has fallen to 8-10%.
Production and Reactions
(LAB) Linear alkyl benzene; It is generally found near the refinery and is used as the main raw material of the kerosene frozen paraffin in the refinery.Paraffin is sent to the LAB factory. LABSA can be obtained by reacting SO3 gas with the linear alkyl benzene (lab) in the reactor after filtration.

It is one of the most important raw materials in the production process in detergent sector. Today, LABSA is used as the main surfactant in liquid, gel or powder detergent production processes.
Textile
It is used as mercerizing and washing agent in textile sector.
