POLYELECTROLIT CATIONIC SPAIN
During the pumping of excess active sludge in the settling pond to filter presses or belt-presses, the sludge is dehydrated by adding polyelectrolyte cationic to the sludge line. Cationic polyelectrolytes are water-soluble polymers that carry positive ionic groups in the side chains. These cationic polymers are synthesized by the free radical polymerization of acrylamide and its derivatives, by the copolymerization method, which includes solution, precipitation and emulsion techniques. Mannich reaction is another important method in which cationic polymers can be processed. These polymers have many applications in different fields such as papermaking processes, water and wastewater treatment, oil and drilling industries, mineral separation, paint and food industries, cosmetics and pharmacy. In addition, these polymers are widely used as flocculants and rheology control agents. These polymers are used as viscosity control agents, especially in oilfield operations, for increased oil recovery, drilling fluid additives, and also to change the flow and stability properties of aqueous solutions and gels. They are used as super plasticizers that affect the rheological properties of dense cement suspensions. Mining processes also benefit from the use of acrylamide-derived polymers for agglomeration of solids in solid dispersions.used to provide flocculation in waste water treatment systems are divided into two main groups as anionic and cationic polyelectrometers. Although there are nanoic polyelectrolytes, they are not used. Generally, the anionic polyelectrolytes in the chemical treatment plants in the wastewater of the particles are combined to precipitate.
Cationic polyelectrolytes are used to float the flocks that will be formed in biologically weighted water treatment plants or to increase the efficiency during dewatering of the waste sludge from all treatment plants. Basically, there are various varieties of polyelectrolytes used in these principles. The jar tests required for wastewater systems should be done by experts and it is imperative to select the appropriate polyelectrolyte for the system. Therefore, it can be ensured that the treatment system is healthy and efficient.
The cationic polyelectrolyte, unlike its anionic form, is generally used in highly active sludges of biological treatment plants. During the pumping of excess activated sludge from the sedimentation pond to filter presses or belt presses, the cationic polyelectrolyte is added to the sludge line to dewater the sludge.
